From Playgrounds to LEGO Masterpieces!
Who says LEGO is just for kids? Certainly not the team at Proludic! We recently hosted a fun and creative Brick Masters team building event in Sydney for 16 members of the Proludic team. With plenty of colourful bricks, a little friendly competition and some serious imagination, this small team was ready to put their building skills to the test.
Proludic specialises in designing and building children’s playgrounds, so naturally, we couldn’t resist putting their expertise to good use. However, this time there were no fancy design programs or construction crews. Just LEGO bricks, teamwork and a countdown clock!
From Playground Designers to LEGO Masters!
One of the best things about our Brick Masters events is that we can completely customise the experience. For Proludic, we created a series of challenges inspired by their company values and the work they do every day.
Rather than simply building the tallest tower or strongest bridge, we wanted to get everyone thinking outside the box. Each challenge encouraged creativity, communication and collaboration, while bringing their company values into the spotlight.
Of course, we couldn’t host a LEGO event for a playground design company without including the ultimate challenge: Build the Best Playground!
Teams had to put their creative hats on and design their very own playground using LEGO. From imaginative play spaces to clever designs, it was fantastic watching everyone bring their ideas to life. After all, these guys design playgrounds for a living, so the expectations were pretty high!
However, working with tiny plastic bricks is a little different from designing full-sized playgrounds. Suddenly, every brick mattered, and every creative decision became a team discussion.
Small Team, BIG Imagination!
With just 16 participants, this event proved that you don’t need a huge group to enjoy some seriously fun team building.
In fact, team building for small teams can be even more rewarding. Everyone gets involved, ideas are shared and there’s nowhere to hide when the building challenges begin!
Throughout the event, we loved seeing the Proludic team tap into their creative side. There was plenty of brainstorming, problem-solving and laughter as everyone worked together to turn their ideas into reality.
Some designs were practical, others were wonderfully imaginative. However, every creation showed just how much can happen when you give a team a pile of LEGO and permission to get creative.
And that’s exactly what makes Brick Masters such a fantastic team bonding activity. It’s not really about who builds the biggest masterpiece. It’s about the conversations, collaboration and teamwork that happen along the way.
Bespoke Team Building That Reflects Your Company
For us, the best team building events are the ones that feel personal. That’s why we love creating bespoke team building experiences that reflect each client’s industry, values and team culture.
Our Sydney Brick Masters event for Proludic was a great example of how a little customisation can make a big difference. By incorporating their company values and playground expertise, we created challenges that were both meaningful and entertaining.
It’s also why Brick Masters is one of our favourite fun indoor team building event ideas. There’s no need to worry about the weather, no athletic ability required and absolutely no previous LEGO experience necessary.
Whether you’re planning a conference breakout session, a staff celebration or simply looking for customised team bonding ideas, Brick Masters brings everyone together in a relaxed and interactive environment.
And who knows? You might even discover a few hidden master builders in your team!
