We recently hosted their Corporate Olympics just outside the city in Lower Hutt, and from the first whistle to the final cheer, it was nothing short of spectacular.

Slingshots – Teams channelled their inner warriors, launching shots with deadly accuracy (and sometimes wild misses that had everyone in stitches).
Sumo Relay – Watching teammates race in inflatable sumo suits was comedy gold. They waddled, stumbled, and sprinted with surprising determination.
Extreme Tic Tac Toe – Forget the quiet, thoughtful pencil-and-paper version. This was a full-body sprint to claim spots, and with 100 competitive Downer participants, the tension was sky-high.
Each challenge demanded clever strategy and serious teamwork. But most importantly, every round was packed with laughter, cheeky banter, and plenty of applause for some truly over-the-top efforts.
