University of SA Students Take on the Ultimate Amazing Race Adelaide!

When you bring together 50 energetic international students, a stunning campus, and our Amazing Race Adelaide, you know it’s going to be one unforgettable day of team building fun! The University of South Australia has a long tradition of running exciting social events, from dolphin-watching cruises to sushi-making classes and escape rooms, but this one took the excitement to a whole new level.

Instead of heading off-campus for their 25th social event, the students stayed right at home and transformed their university grounds into a high-energy Amazing Race adventure. It was the perfect way to celebrate years of fun, friendship, and connection, and a brilliant excuse to get competitive!

From the moment the race began, the campus buzzed with laughter, cheering, and a healthy dose of rivalry. Teams darted across courtyards, deciphering clues, scanning QR codes, and outsmarting their opponents at every turn. This wasn’t just another student activity, it was an epic celebration of culture, teamwork, and the true Amazing Race Adelaide spirit.

This event marked the 25th episode of the university’s legendary social series, a milestone worth celebrating in style! Over the years, these students have done it all, from dolphin watching cruises to sushi lessons and escape rooms. But this time, they stayed close to home for a campus-wide Amazing Race that brought all those past adventures to life.

Racing Through Memories

Armed with clues, QR codes, and big smiles, teams sprinted across campus on a mission to unlock memories and complete hilarious challenges. Each clue paid homage to a past event, like our chopstick challenge, inspired by their Japanese cultural night, or the mural redraw, where teams recreated campus art in the most “unique” way possible (let’s just say, Picasso would’ve been proud).

Between solving riddles, finding hidden posters, and outsmarting rival teams, the energy was electric. The campus buzzed with laughter, friendly competition, and a little bit of strategic sabotage, all in true Amazing Race Adelaide fashion.
