At Tailored Team Building and Corporate Amazing Race, we’ve been busier than ever. From Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane to Hobart, our crew has been designing, hosting, and laughing our way through some epic team building events. Think new games, late nights in the office, plenty of travel, and, most importantly, lots of fun.
The Largest: Sydney’s Mega Race
Our biggest recent event? A massive Sydney Amazing Race for 330 students and teachers. We customised the challenges to suit the school groups and ran it through The Rocks. To add some unexpected excitement, the day also happened to feature multiple union strikes in the city. When 330 participants spilled into a park, police rushed over to see what was happening! After a quick chat, they not only stayed to watch but even helped score the opening challenge. Talk about team bonding Sydney style.
The Smallest: Micro but Mighty
Not every event is huge. Recently, we’ve hosted Melbourne team bonding activities for just four to six participants. Two teams of two can get very competitive, and our record for the smallest race ever is just two people! Proof that team building activities don’t need big numbers to pack big energy.
The Furthest Distance: By Land and by City
Some races send teams across large areas with transport passes like Opal or Myki cards. Teams had to cross rivers, harbours, or cities, deciding the fastest way to reach their next checkpoint. Strategy was key.
But we’ve also run multi-city corporate events. One company asked us to design simultaneous Amazing Races for offices in three cities. We created identical distances and challenges, with FaceTime puzzles linking teams across locations. It was a true great race Australia style event, proving distance doesn’t stop connection.
Gearing Up for Christmas
The calendar’s filling fast with Brisbane team building activities, team bonding in the Hunter Valley, Gold Coast group events, Canberra corporate races, and even some very remote inland adventures. We’re also busy with Melbourne Amazing Race events and team building in Hobart and Newcastle.
